Syracuse football hasn't had a lot to celebrate this year, they’re still looking for their first win and many expect they'll look for a new coach after the season.

And believe it or not, the Orange mascot is having a tough season himself.  He ended up on the list of "least intimidating college mascots," which was put together by the folks at theloveofsports.com.

#5: The Terrapins of Maryland University.  It might not look cute or adorable, but a terrapin is a turtle, not very intimidating.

#4: The Oregon Ducks' mascot comes in fourth.  Obviously, ducks aren't the most intimidating animals, not to mention they don't have any teeth nor hands.

#3: They have a good football team, but the Ohio State Buckeyes do not have an intimidating mascot.  It comes in third.  So what is a buckeye?  It's the state's official tree, which produces nut-like seeds.

#2:  The Stanford Cardinal's unofficial mascot is a tree with bug eyes and giant red lips.  The school's official mascot is the university logo and seal.

#1:  The least intimidating college mascot is, Otto the orange.  Why Otto?  The web site simply says "because you eat oranges, oranges don't eat you."
