It doesn't matter where you work, there are going to be germs all around you, but some jobs are worse than others.

Doctors at the University of Arizona did the research to find out which jobs are the "germiest."

In fifth, a lab scientist.  A no-brainer when you think about it, the job is all about handling bacteria and germs.

A doctor or nurse comes in fourth.  Pretty self-explanatory; spending the entire day in a hospital.

People that do tech support or computer repairs have the third "germiest" job.  Spending all that time typing away on a keyboard and at a desk is how this job ends up number three.

Cashiers and bank employees come in second from dealing with money loaded with germs.

In first, with the germiest job out there: teachers and day care workers.  The study showed six times as many germs on their desks and phones, compared to bank workers.

Also in the top ten: police officer, sanitation worker, janitor, animal control and meatpacker.
