The most valuable lesson we learned during the first year of the 9 Kids Challenge may be the importance of healthy eating habits.  No matter how dedicated you are to the gym, you won't lose weight if you keep eating too much of the wrong things.

Now, the American Journal of Preventative Medicine has published a report, detailing how helpful it can be to keep a food diary... tracking everything you eat and drink.
