Here's a quick exercise to help make this the healthiest Thanksgiving yet, from our "9 Kids Challenge" dietician Mary Henson of SUNY Upstate Medical University!

 

Remember:
1. Thanksgiving is not about eating as much as possible!

2. Try to get some exercise both before and after Thanksgiving Dinner.

3. Don’t go to dinner hungry!!!

Go to http://walking.about.com/library/cal/blthanksgivingcalories.htm or search online for “Thanksgiving Calorie Calculator” to find a tool that will tell you how far you must walk to burn off your dinner (try to do this before Thanksgiving with what you usually eat for dinner, so that you might just make better choices when the day actually comes!)
