We go to Camillus for tonight's "Doctor On Call" question. This viewer writes,  "My son's friend is covered with Poison Ivy. Is it contagious?"

No. The only way you can get Poison Ivy or Poison Oak is from the sap of the plant. It's not transmitted by the blisters from someone else. It's basically an allergic reaction to an oil in the plant.
