Anti-Smoking Drug Gets Revised Warnings

The drug that's shown to work the best to help smokers' quit has some serious side effects. The drug is Chantix, made by Pzifer. The company says Chantix will carry more prominent warnings that patients be monitored for unusual activity including agitation, depression and suicidal behavior. The FDA has been analyzing reports of erratic and aggressive behavior and suicidal thoughts. The drug has been prescribed to four million people since it was approved in 2006.
